Acapulco

There are few places I love to go to as much as Acapulco, Mexico.  Most of my family lives in Mexico City and the closest beach to Mexico City is Acapulco.  Needless to say, Acapulco is where our family “get togethers” have always been.

We spent Memorial weekend over there with some friends and it was amazing!  My family has an apartment in Las Olas Spa & Resort which has the perfect balance of relaxation and activities  There is a complete spa where we all got massages.  I got a delicious hot stone massage and then jumped into the sauna and jacuzzi.

We had dinner at Zibu, which is owned by a native man who created a delicious menu combing Thai and Mexican cuisine.  This unusual combination provided for a mouth watering, crave worthy dinner.  Located on the top of the highest cliffs of Puerto Marques, Zibu’s view extended way beyond eyes view.  One of my favorite things in the world is a great view, and this one was INCREDIBLE and perfect to watch the sunset.  The stunning architecture is strongly represented by the central bamboo pavilion in the middle of the restaurant.  Amazing ambiance!

It was way too quick, but so much fun.  We will be back soon and I’ll add more to this segment!  Here are some pictures from the trip.  Xoxo!

Xoxo
